From something great I was away.
'I wish I could be a seagull and spreading my wings I could
reach you.'
From a great affection.
'Even if distant you soak my heart.'
There were things I didn't talk to you about
And those conversations never took place or were left undone.
'There are things, brother, I didn't say to you.'
About how I loved to see you coming back
And to know you were happy being yourself.
I wanted to help you jumping that fence you didn't even see
And together learn to fly,
While you were watching me managing my life
In that way you then blamed.
I should have told you who I was
And all that I felt when I had to leave,
But you just stood there watching me
With eyes of someone who doesn't want to see anymore.
I wish I could be a seagull and spreading my wings I could reach
you
To bring you the scent of grass
And the Sun that warms the earth, away from there.
I wish I could show you the power that blooms in a flower
And be amazed at the colours,
To make you understand
That even if distant you soak my heart.
Shall you rejoice everything, brother,
And live as you wish.
And shall I always be sure you are peaceful
And believe you are by my side, although you are not there'
